The NebGolf Podcast | Connor Stange
Former NGA Intern Now Works for PGA Tour Champions
OMAHA (February 1, 2022) – It all started in 2013 for Connor Stange, who was a NGA intern through the USGA's P.J. Boatwright Internship program. He helped amp up the NGA's social media efforts before going on to another internship in the USGA's Championship Communications department a couple years later.
After several years as a Sports Information Director at the University of Nebraska, Stange was ready to get back into golf. Last year, he made that career move, taking a position with the PGA Tour Champions as a Communications Specialist. Stange has been able to interview and work with some of the biggest names in golf, including Mickelson, Stricker, Langer and much more.
Stange joined the NebGolf Podcast to talk about his first year on the job, and how his NGA internship helped him get to where he is today. Listen to the full podcast interview on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or at the button below.
