Rules of Golf Education

One of the duties of the Nebraska Golf Association, as an Allied Golf Association of the USGA, is to educate golfers on the Rules of Golf. With the Rules of Golf changes that went into effect on January 1, 2023, NebGolf has educational opportunities available to all key segments, including member clubs, high school and college golf teams, allied associations, tournament players, volunteers, as well as the general golfer. Below is a list of our current offerings. 2-DAY NEBGOLF RULES OF GOLF WORKSHOP

The Nebraska Golf Association will conduct a 2-Day Rules of Golf Workshop in April 2025. More details coming soon.

MEMBER CLUB RULES OF GOLF WORKSHOPS

The Nebraska Golf Association is pleased to present complimentary rules of golf programs to member clubs/courses and associations.

The curriculum for these seminars will be a presentation on the Rules of Golf, or they can be tailored to fit the needs of the member club. Any member club/course or association interested in offering their members further educational programs should contact NGA Assistant Executive Director Justin Ahrens at (402) 505-4653, ext. 104 or jahrens@nebgolf.org.

NebGolf Rules of Golf Club (2025)

NebGolf's Rules Club series continues during the 2023 offseason. These sessions are conducted virtually using Zoom, there's no charge for these and each session begins at 7 p.m. If you are interested in attending please email Gary Austin at gary.austin02@gmail.com. A reminder will be sent a few days before each session, along with the Zoom link.
