Field Club of Omaha Wins Interclub Championship
GOTHENBURG (September 20, 2021) – The Field Club of Omaha captured the 2021 NGA Interclub Championship at Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg on Monday.
The Field Club won the Final, 16-8, over Ashland Golf Club to win the club's first Interclub title. The Field Club won two of the four Four-Ball matches, and tied another, but really separated in the Singles matches, where they picked up five wins and a tie.
In the semifinals, it came down to the last match on the course for The Field Club, which squeaked out a 13-11 win over the hosts from Wild Horse Golf Club. Ashland defeated Shadow Ridge Country Club, 16-8, to advance to the final.
