U.S. Senior Open Qualifier

Byrd and Gogel Qualify for U.S. Senior Open

Robin Byrd (-2) of Satellite Beach, Florida and Matt Gogel (-1) of Mission Hills, Kansas qualified June 7 at the Happy Hollow Club for the 41st U.S. Senior Open. Amateurs Michael McCoy of Norwalk, Iowa and Charlie Stevens of Wichita, Kansas are the two alternates. The 2021 U.S. Senior Open Championship will be conducted in July at the Omaha Country Club. The NGA last hosted qualifying for the Senior Open in 2013, the last time OCC hosted the Championship proper.

Competing for two (2) qualifying places and two (2) alternate positions.

Practice Rounds
Available prior to the qualifier at a time convenient to Happy Hollow Club. Walking fee is $35 or with cart for $55. To make arrangements please contact the Den at Happy Hollow at (402) 391-0239.

Schedule
Monday, June 7
7:30 a.m. - Registration begins (available through last start time)
7:30 a.m. - Practice areas open (available through last start time)
7:30 a.m. - Clubhouse available for food and beverage service
9 a.m.-11 a.m. - Qualifying starting times (1st and 10th tees)
Following Golf - Play-off if necessary

Accommodations
Because of the large number of lodging options available in Omaha there are no hotel arrangements made for this qualifier.
