Welcome to New Partner OrthoNebraska
OMAHA (April 15, 2022) – The Nebraska Golf Association is proud to announce a new partnership with OrthoNebraska, an award-winning orthopedic hospital in Omaha.
The partnership provides support to the NGA and its mission to uphold and promote the game of golf and its values to all golfers in Nebraska. The NGA is a non-profit and utilizes partnerships like this to continue to provide services to its 25,000+ individual members and 158 member clubs across the state. Along with those services, the NGA supports several good-for-the-game initiatives like Youth on Course and Nebraska Junior Golf.
"We are very excited to start this relationship with OrthoNebraska," NGA Executive Director Craig Ames said. "With these partnerships, we seek out companies who have a great reputation, and who we can work with to add value to both their customers and our members. OrthoNebraska has both of those qualities and we're ready to work with them."
OrthoNebraska, like the NGA, has a long history of serving the state of Nebraska, dating back to 1938 with a small orthopaedic practice. Officially becoming OrthoNebraska in 2017, the organization now includes the main hospital (off 144th & Center Streets in Omaha), and a number of other clinic locations.
NRC Health has consistently rated OrthoNebraska's hospital as one of the highest in the country, with 92 percent of overnight stay patients recommending OrthoNebraska, compared to a state average of 78 percent and national average of 72 percent.
In addition to financial support, OrthoNebraska will also provide sports health content for the NGA's digital channels, including the NebGolf Podcast and the bi-monthly NGA newsletter.
