Wyatt Qualifies for U.S. Senior Amateur

Qualifying Conducted on Tuesday at Lochland Country Club

HASTINGS (July 30, 2024) - Lincoln's Ed Wyatt advanced for the first time through qualifying for the 69th U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, posting the low round of the day at Lochland Country Club in Hastings on Tuesday.

Wyatt put together a round of 69 (-3) to take the lone qualifying spot by two strokes. He was one of just three players to break par on the day, and earns a spot in the U.S. Senior Amateur for the first time.

Fremont's John Sajevic is the first alternate once again, after he and Omaha's Kirby Smith each shot rounds of 71 (-1). Sajevic won the playoff to take the first alternate spot, leaving Smith with as the second alternate.

Wyatt will play next at the 69th U.S. Senior Amateur Championship at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee, August 24-29.
