KANSAS RETAINS JUNIOR CUP AT FLINT HILLS

Omaha - Team Kansas retained the cup for a sixth straight year at the 31st Kansas-Nebraska Junior Cup Matches at Flint Hills National in Andover, Kansas. Team Nebraska entered the final day with a 5.5-2.5 lead, but Kansas won 4 of the 8 singles matches, three others were halved, and the teams finished in a tie at 8-8, with Kansas retaining the cup. It was the first tie since 2004, and just the third overall. Humphrey's Trevor Kosch led Team Nebraska with 2.5 points, while Lincoln's Patrick Clare also did not lose a match, totaling 2 points.
